Tilemaster Feather is a rapid-drying, fast-setting, ultra-fine, high-polymer patching and smoothing compound designed for internal use across a wide range of substrates prior to installing final floor coverings.

Formulated to enhance the surface finish of subfloors, Tilemaster Feather is perfect for patching and feathering imperfections such as depressions, trowel marks, ridges, gouges, and day joints. It’s also ideal for smoothing over screw heads and the joints between plywood sheets. With excellent adhesion properties, it can be applied directly to numerous surfaces—including sand and cement screeds, concrete, existing levelling compounds, plywood, and even existing tiles—without the need for priming.

As a true “feather edge” product, Tilemaster Feather allows for application from featheredge up to 3mm thickness. The compound has an open time of approximately 15 minutes at 23°C, and when applied to absorbent subfloors, it is typically ready for floor covering installation in as little as 15 minutes.
