Gripperrods Gold Line Heat Seam Tape
Gripperrods Gold Line Heat Seam Tape is a premium-grade seaming solution designed for use with conventional woven, secondary jute backed carpets and Action-Bac carpets. Developed for professional installers, it delivers strong, reliable seams while improving working efficiency on site.
Featuring a metallised gold foil backing, this top-of-the-range tape provides enhanced heat performance compared to standard crepe-backed tapes. It reduces heat loss into the subfloor, allowing for a faster adhesive melt and quicker seaming process when using a seaming iron.
The gold foil construction also slows the cooling rate of the adhesive, giving installers more working time for accurate pattern matching and seam adjustment. This improved control makes it particularly suitable for high traffic areas and more demanding installations.
Additionally, the tape allows for better control at lower temperatures, helping to protect sensitive carpet piles and backings during installation.
