Karndean Van Gogh – Indy Urban Elm SM-VGW148T

Product Description

Introduce rustic charm and timeless parquet styling into your home with Karndean Van Gogh Indy Urban Elm SM-VGW148T Herringbone, a beautifully detailed elm-effect luxury vinyl flooring inspired by the natural character of reclaimed timber. Combining warm beige shades, subtle taupe undertones and distinctive flowing wood grain, this elegant flooring delivers the appearance of authentic elm with the durability and convenience of modern LVT.

Inspired by timber discovered in a Midwest American lumberyard, Indy Urban Elm captures the beauty of natural imperfections. Its expressive grain patterns, occasional knots and carefully textured finish create a realistic wood appearance that brings warmth and individuality to any living space.

Distinctive Elm-Effect Herringbone Flooring

Unlike the standard Indy Urban Elm plank, SM-VGW148T features smaller 457mm x 114mm planks designed for traditional herringbone installations. The classic zigzag arrangement adds movement and architectural interest, transforming the natural elm design into a sophisticated parquet-style floor.

The balanced beige and taupe colouring makes Indy Urban Elm Herringbone particularly versatile. It complements contemporary kitchens, Scandinavian-inspired interiors, rustic furniture and neutral decorative schemes, providing an attractive foundation for both modern and traditional homes.

Whether installed throughout an open-plan living area, used to create a welcoming entrance hallway or chosen for a stylish bedroom, this flooring offers a beautiful combination of natural texture and decorative design.

Waterproof, Durable and Easy to Maintain

Part of the Karndean Van Gogh Gluedown collection, Indy Urban Elm Herringbone combines the authentic appearance of natural timber with practical performance designed for everyday living.

Featuring a 3mm overall thickness and durable 0.55mm wear layer, this luxury vinyl flooring is designed to withstand regular household foot traffic. Its protective surface treatment helps resist everyday scuffs and spills, making it an excellent choice for busy family homes.

The fully waterproof construction makes Indy Urban Elm suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and other moisture-prone areas where traditional hardwood flooring may require additional care.

Unlike real wood parquet, this flooring requires no sanding, staining or varnishing. Regular sweeping and occasional mopping help maintain its attractive appearance, making it a convenient solution for households seeking beautiful flooring without demanding maintenance.

Each plank features subtle micro-bevelled edges that define the individual boards, enhancing the realistic appearance of the herringbone arrangement. The gluedown installation method provides a secure, stable finish when fitted over a correctly prepared subfloor.
