Karndean Van Gogh – Sable Apres Oak SM-VGW146T

Product Description

Create a beautifully understated interior with Karndean Van Gogh Sable Apres Oak SM-VGW146T Herringbone, an elegant oak-effect luxury vinyl flooring that brings together the timeless character of natural timber and the sophistication of traditional parquet design. Featuring muted brown, soft blonde and subtle ash tones, this distinctive flooring provides a versatile foundation for contemporary and classic interiors alike.

Inspired by oak from a Bavarian forest, Sable Apres Oak captures the authentic appearance of time-worn timber through intricate grain detailing, natural colour variation and a carefully embossed surface. Its gentle beige and taupe colouring offers a refined alternative to darker wood flooring, introducing warmth without overwhelming your living space.

Elegant Herringbone Flooring

Unlike the standard Sable Apres Oak plank, SM-VGW146T features smaller 457mm x 114mm planks designed specifically for herringbone installations. The traditional zigzag arrangement creates a sense of movement across the floor, adding architectural interest and a luxurious parquet appearance.

The balanced neutral tones make Sable Apres Oak Herringbone particularly suitable for modern kitchens, elegant living rooms, welcoming hallways and stylish bedrooms. Pair it with natural oak furniture, soft cream furnishings, contemporary cabinetry or darker contrasting accessories to create a beautifully coordinated interior.

Durable and Practical Luxury Vinyl Flooring

Part of the Karndean Van Gogh Gluedown collection, Sable Apres Oak Herringbone combines authentic wood styling with the practical benefits of modern luxury vinyl flooring.

Its 3mm overall thickness and durable 0.55mm wear layer provide reliable performance in busy households, helping the flooring withstand everyday foot traffic. The protective surface treatment also makes cleaning straightforward, requiring regular sweeping and occasional mopping to maintain its attractive appearance.

The fully waterproof construction makes this flooring an excellent choice for kitchens, bathrooms and other moisture-prone areas where natural hardwood may be less practical.

Unlike traditional parquet flooring, Karndean Sable Apres Oak requires no sanding, staining or varnishing, offering the elegance of natural timber with significantly less maintenance.

Each plank features micro-bevelled edges that subtly define the individual boards, enhancing the realistic appearance of the herringbone arrangement. The gluedown installation method provides a secure, stable finish when fitted over a correctly prepared subfloor.
