Tovcol LVT Fibre+ 12kg is a solvent-free, fibre-reinforced acrylic adhesive designed for the installation of LVT and SPC flooring and wall coverings on absorbent subfloors. It provides a fast, strong initial grab with excellent bond strength and dimensional stability. Suitable for use with underfloor heating and in areas exposed to higher temperatures, it is intended for interior applications only.

Subfloor Preparation
Tovcol LVT Fibre+ is suitable for use on any absorbent subfloor that is sound, smooth, clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or other contaminants. Moisture levels must not exceed 2.0% CM (1.7% with underfloor heating). For gypsum or anhydrite subfloors, moisture levels should be below 0.5% CM (0.2% with underfloor heating).
Dusty surfaces should be treated with Nano-Fix water-based primer before installation. Non-absorbent substrates must be prepared with a minimum 2mm layer of smoothing compound. Underfloor heating systems should be prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and switched off 24 hours prior to installation.
Application
Allow both the adhesive and flooring to acclimatise for at least 24 hours before installation. Stir the adhesive thoroughly before use and apply using a suitable TKB A2 notched trowel. Install the LVT planks or tiles within the adhesive open time, regularly checking for full adhesive transfer to the back of the flooring.
If the adhesive has exceeded its open time or transfer is insufficient, remove and reapply fresh adhesive. Roll the flooring with a 60kg roller from the centre outwards to remove air pockets, repeating after 20–30 minutes. Clean any adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth.
For wall applications, allow a waiting time of 5–10 minutes before bonding. Always follow the flooring manufacturer’s installation instructions.
