Mapei Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is a professional fibre-reinforced, high-temperature adhesive specifically developed for LVT flooring, providing high shear resistance, excellent dimensional stability and a strong, rigid final bond.

Designed for interior floors and walls, Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is suitable for installing LVT planks and tiles, rigid LVT and SPC onto level, absorbent substrates. It can also be used with underfloor heating systems and is particularly suited to heavy-use domestic, commercial and industrial environments including hospitals, shopping centres and airports.

In addition to LVT and SPC, the adhesive can be used for homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC, CV and multilayer PVC flooring, VCT, synthetic-backed linoleum tiles, polyolefin and PUR floor coverings, as well as certain multilayer cork planks with PVC backing.

Its fibre-reinforced formulation delivers a fast and strong initial grab with rapid setting, while the rigid, cohesive adhesive film provides excellent dimensional stability and helps prevent joints from opening after installation. It also offers excellent peel strength and high resistance to shear.

Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is supplied ready to use and can be applied with a suitable notched trowel. It has a waiting time of approximately 0–10 minutes and an open time of 20–30 minutes, allowing the floor covering to be installed directly into the wet adhesive bed for good transfer to the backing.

The adhesive is suitable for heavy static and dynamic loads, wheelchair traffic and chair castors, making it an excellent choice for demanding commercial LVT installations as well as residential flooring.
