Mapei Ultrabond Eco V4 Evolution is a high-performance universal “all-in-one” flooring adhesive designed for installing a wide range of resilient and textile floor coverings. It combines fast, strong initial tack with an extended open and adjustment time, making it a versatile choice for professional flooring installations.

Suitable for PVC, LVT, rubber, carpet, linoleum and many other floor coverings, Ultrabond Eco V4 Evolution can be used on both floors and walls in interior applications. It is particularly suited to modular LVT and can be used as a wet-lay adhesive on level, absorbent substrates and with underfloor heating systems.

Its broad compatibility includes homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC, sheet and tile PVC, LVT, modular LVT, SPC, rigid-core and hybrid LVT, VCT, rubber flooring, carpet, needle-punch flooring, linoleum and indoor sports flooring. It is also suitable for textile floor coverings with common backing types including latex-primed, PVC, polyurethane foam, natural jute and Action-Bac®.

A major advantage of Ultrabond Eco V4 Evolution is its ability to work as both a wet-lay and transitional pressure-sensitive adhesive. On absorbent substrates it can be used as a conventional wet adhesive, while dimensionally stable floor coverings can be bonded to impervious, non-absorbent substrates using the pressure-sensitive method.

The ready-to-use formulation provides excellent wetting, very high peel strength, good dimensional stability and strong final adhesion. Its extended working characteristics give installers plenty of time to position and adjust floor coverings while still providing rapid initial tack. It is suitable for areas exposed to intense static and dynamic loads, wheelchair traffic and chair castors, including demanding commercial and industrial environments such as hospitals, shopping centres and airports.

Depending on the installation method and substrate, Ultrabond Eco V4 Evolution offers an open time of approximately 60–70 minutes on absorbent substrates and up to 120 minutes on non-absorbent substrates. It is suitable for light foot traffic after approximately 3–5 hours and ready for use after 24–48 hours.
